Free parking available, which is a rare find these days. The pub area had a lively charm, making it a great spot to unwind after a long day of travels.
Car park felt a bit cramped on Sunday evenings, making it tricky to find a decent spot. Climbing up the stairs to the upper floors with luggage proved a challenge. My room had an ancient heater that struggled against the cold, leaving me to freeze until it finally warmed up. the street noise crept in through the window during the night. The bathroom faucet was temperamental, fluctuating between hot and cold, and the overall room size was quite snug for the price.

A Delightful Surprise in Leiston!
Dining here felt like a hidden gem! The perfectly cooked meals were a highlight, and the friendly atmosphere made our evening special. Don't miss the local musicians performing on the first Wednesday of the month. it added a charming ambiance to our meal. Highly recommended for dinner!

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed live music on the weekend, which created a great vibe. The spacious family room with three beds was perfect for us, especially my teenage daughter who loved having her own space.
In my wife’s opinion, a better breakfast selection would really enhance the family experience.

We had a great time relaxing in the beer garden while enjoying some live music. The freshly made breakfast was a delightful start to our day! There were plenty of spots to unwind, like the garden area and cozy lounge. Just a heads up, the music from the band on Friday was a bit loud, but it didn't ruin our fun! 🎶

Family getaway for a decent price
The room we stayed in was nicely decorated and clean, very comfortable for us all. The shower was nice, had great pressure and hot water all the time, a highlight for the kids after a long day.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but still acceptable.

I had a spacious room with a comfy bed and was pleasantly surprised by the great shower pressure. The garden area was relaxing and the dining options were delightful. The only downside was that there wasn't a hairdryer in the room, which would have been handy. 😊

missingWrote a review on Jul 16friendly staffdelicious steakdated furnishingsnoise levelsmaintenance issues
The room was clean but somewhat dated with cheap flatpack furniture. The staff were friendly, which made check-in smooth. I enjoyed the food at the restaurant. the steak was especially well-cooked and delicious. noise from the courtyard kept me up late, as the young staff needs further training. There were some maintenance issues in the bathroom, like cracked tiles and a bath with filled-in holes. Breakfast should be included in the price, not an extra charge. The outdoor space was nice to relax in, but overall it felt a bit overpriced for what was offered.
